Just to get the ball rolling I have a little assignment, a small Bible study, it is to read Acts 16"11-15, the story of Lydia. Then write a small reflection on how you relate to her.... are you a business woman, an at home wife and or mother, a student, or all of these (and yes, we can wear all of those hats)... Lydia was a 'modern' woman of her time who took a great risk in following Jesus and aligning herself with Paul and Silas. What risks do we take today? What do we value in our lives? And what would you do if you were Lydia at the river......? There are no wrong answers.
